Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction and Who We Are
Welcome to South London Appliance Pros. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our appliance repair services. By booking a service with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. We are a professional appliance repair team dedicated to providing reliable services across the South London region. Our goal is to offer transparent, high-quality repairs with friendly UK service.
2. Scope of Services and Service Areas
We offer repairs for a wide range of domestic appliances, including washing machines, dishwashers, ovens, tumble dryers, and fridge freezers. Our service area covers major parts of South London, including Lambeth, Southwark, Wandsworth, Richmond, Kingston upon Thames, Merton, Kensington and Chelsea, Westminster, Hammersmith and Fulham and surrounding boroughs. While we aim to accommodate all requests within our defined zones, service availability may vary based on engineer capacity and specific location requirements.
3. Booking, Cancellations and Access Requirements
Bookings can be made via our website, phone, or email. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations to avoid a late cancellation charge. Please ensure the area around the appliance is clear of obstacles. If our engineer cannot gain access during the agreed time slot, a reduced call-out fee may still apply.
4. Pricing, Payment Terms and Call-out Fees
Our standard call-out and diagnostic fee is £95. This fee covers the initial visit call out and diagnosis of the fault and labour for the first visit. Further labour and the cost of replacement parts are charged separately and will be quoted to you before work commences. Payment is required upon completion of the visit unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept major credit/debit cards, bank transfers and cash. All prices include VAT.
5. Warranties, Liability and Responsibilities
All repairs and parts supplied by us come with a 90-day guarantee from the date of the repair, provided the fault is related to the original work carried out. We are not liable for pre-existing damage or faults resulting from misuse, accidental damage, or unauthorised repairs by third parties. We are not responsible for any loss of food. Future blockages are not covered by our 90 day guarantee. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure appliances are installed correctly and that they provide accurate information regarding the fault.
6. Data Protection and Communications
We take your privacy seriously. Any personal data collected (such as your name, address, and contact details) is used solely for the purpose of carrying out our services and managing your account. We comply with UK GDPR regulations. We may contact you regarding your booking via email, SMS, or phone. We will never share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
7. Complaints and Governing Law
We strive for 100% customer satisfaction. If you have a complaint regarding our service, please contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes relating to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
